Prior Plan Approval (PPA) is required on all Plans for certain services regardless of whether the provider is participating or non-participating.
Members are not required to select a PCP for any benefit plan offered by CHA Health, but it is recommended.
Prescription Plans
CHA Health's Prescription Plans are designed to help members control their medical expenses with a three-tier benefit structure. Generic drugs are the most affordable way to obtain quality medications at the lowest copayment level. Preferred brands are covered at a higher copayment level. Non-preferred brands have either an equally effective and less costly generic equivalent, or one or more preferred brand options.
